History
Horse-drawn ploughs were the first product to leave the foundry of J. Hodgson & Sons next to the Cattle Market in Louth. The year was 1857.
Ten years later the company's award-winning light draught ploughs were well-known in north-east Lincolnshire and the foundry was producing iron castings for a wide range of applications.
Subsequent generations have extended their range of business activities to include:-

The new company of J. Hodgson & Sons Ltd was formed in the year 2000 with the amalgamation of the property development and investment business of Kenbal Properties and the caravan manufacturing business of Carlight Caravans
